Showcase

excerpt

The Schobergruppe in the national park Hohe Tauern spreads from Zettersfeld in Lienz up to the crest of the foot of the Glockner Group. Six main valleys dissect the hill country with 53 three-thousanders whose essential components gneiss and mica schist, are filled with narrow granite and marble lines. 62 green and blue shimmering lakes are jewelry and ornament in the womb of form rich summit beauties with adventurous ridges and walls, the habitat for chamois, ibex, marmots, bearded vultures and golden eagles.
